The Prado in Albuquerque

Albuquerque, New Mexico hosts the outdoor exhibit of masterpieces of the Prado Museum, reproduced in HD on a 1:1 scale for the most realistic perception of the works, from June to August 2018 in the Civic Plaza.

The Prado in Albuquerque aims to foment appreciation and knowledge of the cultural legacy of the Prado Museum by making these masterpieces of European art history easily viewable to the public in an outdoor setting.

This new edition of the educational exhibit is co-organized by the Prado Museum and American Friends of the Prado Museum and is made possible by the generous support and coordination of the City of Albuquerque, New Mexico Multi-Cultural Foundation and Heritage Hotels and Resorts.

The collaboration reinforces international cultural ties and hopefully adds to the perspective of Spanish heritage in New Mexico.
